This Rare Condition Makes You Get Tipsy Off French Fries
Although rare, this is a REAL SITUATION.
If you’ve ever wanted to get more than just simple satisfaction out of eating fries… well now you can. If you have this rare condition, that is.
Those with auto-brewery syndrome have high levels of yeast in their stomach, (4 times than normal), so when they eat foods with high carbs… it’s converted to alcohol.
34-year-old Nick Hess from the UK has this condition, and only developed it a few years ago. He noticed he started to feel a little intoxicated after eating bread or fries.
Finally, a doctor came up with the auto-brewery syndrome diagnosis.
The condition was first discovered in Japan in the 1970s and doctors believe people develop it after they use antibiotics for a long time… since it’s not uncommon for your stomach bacteria levels to be thrown off.
To live with it, you have to cut out most carbs and sugar.
Australians love to shower… but recent research shows it’s not as good for you as you think.
It’s no secret that plane food can be pretty bad… but what these people were served is all kinds of wrong!
