Survey Reveals Sexting Is The Norm For Many Young People
A worrying new study has shown that a lot of young people are sexting each other but the sharing doesn't always end there.
A UK survey found 37% of people aged 13-25 have sent someone a nude pic of themselves - but the worst part is that a quarter of those photos are then shared!
16% think sexting is a normal thing to do, but not all sexters are necessarily happy with the concept. 13% of young people said they felt pressured into sending an explicit photo.
Sexologist and relationship expert Dr Nikki Goldstein has shared her 3 tips for successful sexting:
Think before you sext.
Always think that someone else will see this photo and then ask yourself if you would feel comfortable with what the photo is.
If you feel the need to send a sext, try something that is sexy but not nude.
Let’s be honest here… sexting can be a whole lot of fun. But it can get all kinds of weird when a total creep tries to hit on you, which, let’s face it, is probably all the time in this digital dating age.
