Why Michelle Levy Ran Away From Home
The Argument Which Caused A Mass Police Search
Michelle Levy had been reunited with her parents, after being found at a unit in Randwick on Mulwarree Avenue at around 10:30am yesterday.
The Daily Telegraph
have reported a police source said the “disappearance was related to an argument with her father over a chocolate laying under her bed”.
In a separate occurrence, Michelle’s father is due to face court with allegation of assault, “harged a 40-year-old man with common assault earlier this month in relation to an incident with a male. He is to appear at Waverley Local Court on 20 November” a NSW police statement read.
Her mother posted on Facebook shortly after the discovery yesterday, " She's been found! Going to fetch her now. Thank you everyone one and all!"
Her father, Adam Levy says she has spent the past two nights with a man who is not known to the family.
"I believe that the person came across her on Saturday night at Bondi Junction and has essentially taken her into his care" said Mr Levy.
It's believed he contacted Anglicare to alert them of her whereabouts.
The man who took her in after she ran away had been interviewed by detectives and released without charge.
