4. Nadal's 40 year drought broken

In 2008, Rafael Nadal became the first Spanish player in 40 years to win Wimbledon - beating Roger Federer.  You can feel the emotion in this one.

3. Fancy a dip?

One of tennis' greatest players, Jim Courier overcame intense heat during the match against Stefan Edberg to win the 1992 Australian Open.  To mark his win, he took a dip in the Yarra.

2. The marathon match

During the 2011 Australian Open, a match between Svetland Kuznetsova and Francesca Schiavone fought it out on court for 4 hours and 44 minutes.

1. Sleepless in Australia

Yet another marathon match between Australia's own Lleyton Hewitt and Marcos Baghdatis.  The match started just before midnight, and finished 4 hours and 45 minutes later.  During the match, the stadium was still packed until the end of the game.
