Facebook Bans Anatomical Pregnant Nude For Being Sexy

Yep. They sure did.

British artist Rebecca Harris embroiders beautiful images of the human body which are breathtaking in their elaborate detail and colour.


She wanted to promote the exhibition of her latest work, of a nude pregnant woman with an anatomical cross-section of the growing foetus on Facebook, because it’s 2015 and that’s how people promote things now.

When she went to post her ad, featuring the art in question, this is what Facebook had to say:

 

Yep. Apparently the computers that look at images for ads thinks that this art is ‘overly sexual’ because it has boobies in it. Thankfully, the community is rallying behind Rebecca and hopefully the media attention will see Facebook act to correct the oversight.
