Mum Slams Online Trolls For Taunting Her Sick Baby
A mother has hit back at online bullies after they made cruel jokes about her sick toddler on Twitter.
Two-year-old Mariah Anderson suffers from a genetic disorder called Chromosome 2 Duplication Syndrome, and sufferers usually live short lives.
When her mother, Kyra Pringle, posted a birthday picture online, thousands of trolls began attacking the little girl.
Many began calling her a ‘leprechaun’ and even attempted to Photoshop her image.
Some of the offensive tweets have since been deleted, with the young people responsible for them claiming they didn’t know the girl was real.
But Kyra’s mum wants to remind people how hurtful online bullying can be.
“The smile you guys think is funny, the smile you are comparing to a leprechaun – she’s not a monster, she’s real,” she said.
“This is actually a human being, this is a child, this is a baby.”
Not all of the comments were negative though, with many jumping to the defence of the brave toddler.
These are two amazing and dedicated parents. They would do anything for their daughter including getting a giant birthmark tattooed on themselves.
10 weeks ago, a baby was born at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in LA… but there was something different about him.
This baby can only be soothed by one thing...
