We’ve all grown up watching Disney movies and fallen in love with the imaginative worlds and characters… but did you know that some of your favourite characters have actually appeared in other Disney movies?

One of the longest running gags between Disney storywriters and animators is to include secret cameos of characters from other movies.

Check out what some very dedicated Disney fans have found by studying the films very closely…

29. Lilo & Stitch

Apparently Lilo is a Dumbo fan.

28. Ratatouille

Doug from Up is making this shadow. Interestingly, Up was released two years after Ratatouille.

27. Tangled

Pinocchio makes an appearance in the background of this scene.

26. Lilo & Stitch

A Mulan poster can be seen in Nani’s room.

25. The Princess and the Frog

Aladdin's Magic Carpet can be seen during the opening scene.

24. Lilo & Stitch

The ball from Pixar's Luxo Jr. makes a sneaky appearance in the background.

23. Hercules

The slain Lion is the evil Scar from The Lion King.

22. The Fox and the Hound

Wart from The Sword in the Stone makes an appearance in squirrel form.

21. Oliver & Company

Ratigan from The Great Mouse Adventure and Scooby-Doo can be seen in photo frames in the background.

20. Treasure Planet

Stitch from Lilo & Stitch makes an appearance as a stuffed toy.

19. The Black Cauldron

Tinkerbell from Peter Pan flies into this scene.

18. Beauty and the Beast

These signs read Anaheim and Valencia. Anaheim is the location of Disneyland and Valencia is where the California Institute of the Arts is located, the school of many Disney animators.

17. Oliver & Company

Trust, Peg, and Jock from Lady and the Tramp all appear in the movie.

16. Aladdin

Did you catch Sebastian from Little Mermaid pinching Genie?

15. Brother Bear

Nemo from Finding Nemo appears in this scene.

14. The Princess and the Frog

While singing "Dig a Little Deeper," Mama Odie throws some things around, one of which is Genie's Magic Lamp from Aladdin.

13. The Little Mermaid

The Grand Duke and The King from Cinderella are seen in the background at Ariel’s wedding.

12. The Rescuers

Bambi and his mum make an appearance in this silhouetted scene.

11. The Great Mouse Detective

Bill the Lizard from Alice in Wonderland is part of Ratigan's gang.

10. Tarzan

This teaware might look familiar because it’s actually Mrs. Potts and Chip from Beauty and the Beast.

9. 101 Dalmatians

The dog in the far left sitting in the basket is Peg from Lady and the Tramp.

8. The Princess and the Frog

King Triton from Little Mermaid is seen on a Mardi Gras float.

7. The Hunchback of Notre Dame

In the streets of Paris, the Magic Carpet from Aladdin, Belle from Beauty and the Beast, and Pumbaa from The Lion King all make an appearance.

6. Oliver & Company

Princess Aurora from Aurora can be seen on the street.

5. Aladdin

When Aladdin finds the Sultan’s toys, the Beast is part of the pile…

4. Tangled

Sleeping Beauty, Beauty and the Beast and Little Mermaid appear as books while Rapunzel and Flynn read.

3. 101 Dalmatians

In the Twilight Bark scene, Lady and Tramp are seen wondering the streets.

Impersonations are popular too. Here, Louis is imitating Madam Mim from The Sword and the Stone.

1. The Little Mermaid

Goofy, Mickey, and Donald can be seen when King Triton first appears.
