Proof That Taylor Swift's New Song Is About Harry Styles
If you’re as excited as we are about Taylor Swift’s new song, you’re probably also dying to know who it’s about...
T-Swizz never actually reveals who her songs are about but Billboard have broken down the lyrics to Out Of The Woods, the second single from her new album 1989, and all clues point to One Direction bad boy, Harry Styles.
Billboard have ranked the top four clues from "could-be-mere-coincidence (1) to pretty dang convincing (4)".
"We were built to fall apart/ Then fall back together"
Their brief romance was notorious for being on-again, off-again, which this lyric seems to address.
The stars allegedly broke up over a big fight that happened in December 2012.
"Remember when you hit the brakes too soon/ Twenty stitches in a hospital room"
Taylor and Harry went on a much-publicised snowmobiling trip with Justin Bieber and according to Rolling Stone, Swift says the lyrics were "inspired by a snowmobile ride with an ex who lost control and wrecked it so badly that she saw her life flash before her eyes."
"Your necklace hanging round my neck/ The night we couldn't quite forget/ When we decided/ To move the furniture so we could dance/ Two paper airplanes flying, flying"
The couple was rumoured to have worn identical plane necklaces while together.
And here’s Taylor herself taking about the "frantic and fragile relationship" that inspired the song…
