Girl group G.R.L. band member Simone Battle has passed away at age 25.
G.R.L. were only in Australia a couple of weeks ago, and are responsible for the current hit 'Ugly Heart', and 'Wild Wild Love' with Pitbull.
Battle's father, Anthony E Battle, has confirmed the sad news to MailOnline saying "She will be greatly missed and loved. She was an exuberant person and a very loved person."
Reign Deer Entertainment, Robin Antin, Kemosabe Records and RCA Records have also released a joint statement.
"We are deeply saddened by the tragic news of the loss of Simone Battle of G.R.L," the statement reads.
"Simone was an exceptional young talent and human being, and we are all devastated to learn of her passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and loved ones at this time."
She was found at her Los Angeles home at around 8am on Friday morning by her father. Her death is still under investigation.
Childhood friend, and music producer, Derek Butler took to his Instagram account to pay tribute to this talented, young star.

Drew Ryniewicz, who appeared alongside Battle on “The X Factor,” also wrote the following.
“#simonebattle so sad to hear that this beautiful girl passed away today,” wrote Ryniewicz. “Simone was a star from the day I met her, always full of confidence and always so eager to succeed.”
Stylist Charlie Brianna and 'Hit The Floor' star Taylour Paige have all posted tributes to Simone.
Industry peers have taken to Twitter to express their feelings at the news.

There has been no official comment from the band, her management or label at this time.
