90’s punk rockers Blink-182 are in the middle of an epic public fight with former bandmate Tom DeLonge, who disputes their claims that he’s left the group.
DeLonge has since released a "letter to the fans" explaining his side of the story.
Vocalist and bassist Mark Hoppus and drummer Travis Barker released a statement to the press today saying that DeLonge had left the band "indefinitely," and will not be joining the trio when they headline Barker's annual Musink Festival in California next March.
Alkaline Trio guitarist/singer Matt Skiba will take over but it's not sure for how long because Alkaline Trio are still touring and recording.
"We were all set to play this festival and record a new album and Tom kept putting it off without reason," said Hoppus and Barker in the statement.

"A week before we were scheduled to go in to the studio, we got an email from his manager explaining that he didn’t want to participate in any Blink-182 projects indefinitely, but would rather work on his other non-musical endeavors."
"No hard feelings, but the show must go on for our fans."
But the vocalist and guitarist took to social media to deny the claims.
“I never quit the band,” DeLonge said.
“Actually, I was on the phone discussing a possible Blink-182 event in New York City when I heard the ‘news.’”

The 39-year-old is doing stuff with his side-project Angels & Airwaves, which he admitted has limited his time this year.
“The only truth here is that I have commitments that limit my availability this year," he said.
“I love Blink-182 and I’m not leaving.”
But now the remaining members have hit back with a scathing article in Rolling Stone, detailing how difficult it has been to work with DeLonge and calling him "disrespectful and ungrateful."
We have a feeling this isn't over just yet...
