But before the bombshell dropped that love-rat Blake Garvey had dumped his TV fiancé Sam Frost, there were some serious rumours floating around – particularly after all media appearances and interviews were cancelled mysteriously prior to the finale hitting out screens.

While presenting the news on the Sydney Siege, Natalie Barr broke down live on air.
Barr reported the name of one of the victims who was killed as mother of two Katrina Dawson, and then realised that she knew her brother.
"When you put the faces to the people who have died overnight, it's just heartbreaking. It’s a very sad, heavy-hearted city this morning," Barr said.
2014 was a difficult year for music's power couple, Beyonce and Jay Z – but luckily the superstar couple put their divorce rumours to rest at the MTV VMA’s with a heartfelt speech.
The superstar songstress performed a flawless medley of her hits before her hubby Jay Z (with baby Blue Ivy in arms) took to the stage to present her with the VMA’s most prestigious award – The Michael Jackson Video Vanguard award.
“I have nothing to say, but I am fulled with so much gratitudue, I just thank God for this,” she said, as the crowd chanted her name.
“My little Blue, I love you. My beloved I love you. MTV I love you. My fans, I love you!”
Former Big Brother housemate Ben Zabel was rushed to hospital after he reporterly over-dosed on presription drugs in late November this year.
He was treated by mental health workers and spent some time recovering in hospital before heading home for some serious rest and recooperation!
Scandal and rumours surrounding reality TV show Big Brother also ruled the headlines, particularly when it was speculated that housemate Lawson’s real-life girlfriend Candice Leeder was to enter the house – after Lawson admitted he’s choose his BBAU fling Cat over his long-term lover.
While Cat never did enter the house, Lawson admitted to Sophie, Jules and Merrick that his actions in the house destroyed his relationship.
"I don't think that relationship (with Candice) will continue. I coudln't ever look any of her family in the eye. Walking down the street my face is going to be the one that's known and hers isn't and they're only ever going to think that she's the idiot that stayed with the goose."
The top story of 2014 was a tragedy and a huge loss. Simone Battle, 25, of hit girl group GRL was found dead in her LA home by her boyfriend in September this year.
Authorities confirmed the rising star’s death was a suicide. Her distraught father Anthony Battle spoke loving about her to Mail Online: "She will be greatly missed and loved. She was an exuberant person and a very loved person."
