Kelly Osbourne has taken to Twitter to voice her disgust over 'racist' comments made by fellow Fashion Police co-host Giuliana Rancic, going as far to say she may quit.

Earlier Giuliana Rancic was been slammed for totally inappropriate and ignorant comments she made about Disney stay Zendaya.

The Fashion Police host said the actress must have smelled of "patchouli" and "weed" due to the way the 18-year-old wore her hair at the Oscars.

Zendaya wore her hair in dreadlocks at Monday's Academy Awards - which she admitted she did to inspire other women and men of African decent.

"My wearing of my hair in Locs on an Oscar red carpet was to showcase them in a positive light, to remind people of colour that our hair is good enough," she explained in a statement on Instagram.

"There is a fine line between what is funny and disrespectful," she wrote. "Someone said something about my hair at the Oscars that left me in awe. Not because I was relishing in rave outfit reviews, but because I was hit with ignorant slurs and pure disrespect."

Now Giuliana Rancic has issued a video apology for her comments that she says has been "weighing very heavy" on her heart.

"Fashion Police is a show that pokes fun at celebrities, in good spirit, but I do understand that something I said last night did cross the line," Rancic says.

"I didn't intend to hurt anybody but I've learned it is not my intent that matters, it's the result and the result is that people are offended including Zendaya, and that is not ok."

"Therefore, I wanna say to Zendaya and anyone else out there that I have hurt that I am so so sincerely sorry."
