Everything You Need To Know About Netflix In Australia!
Welcome to the future people!
Netflix AKA The Ultimate Provider Of Television Goodness is officially launching in Australia on March 24 – it was announced today.
The TV and movie streaming service will launch with Netflix original series House of Cards and Bloodline – but it won’t include Orange is the New Black due to licensing issues.
You’ll be able to watch the show on a range of devices including Samsung, LG and Sony smart TVs, Fetch TV’s latest set-top box, Apple TV, Google Chromecast, Xbox 360/One, PS3/4 and smartphones and tablets.
It’s believe the service will cost about $9.99 per month to rival local competitors.
And for those worries about broadband limits? Both iiNet and Optus have confirmed the data usage will not count towards customer’s monthly limits.
While we’re not exactly sure what will be available, it’s believed the library will not be as extensive as the US version due to licencing deals with local providers… however this is set to change!
