10% battery and 10 minutes until you have to be out the door, we've ALL been there! Charging your phone can be seriously time-consuming. So here's how to speed it up!
Most of us charge our phones overnight, however, these days with texting, social media, emails, internet and selfies, there's just no way that our battery can last an entire day!
So here are a few handy tips to help get that battery life up toot-sweet!
1. Charge your phone with a dedicated charger NOT a docking station or computer!
A USB 1.0 or 2.0 are only capable of delivering up to 0.5A. The actual charger that your iPhone comes with is capable of delivering 1A! You'll be saving yourself half the time to charge your phone!
2. (If you have one) use an iPad charger!
An iPad charger is capable of 2.1A, which is 7 watts more powerful than the iPhone charger.
3. Use Apple's Lightning to USB cable or charger.
This is the Apple-certified charger that comes with your iPhone or iPad. Wrong cables and/or chargers can slow down the process!
Not to mention, they don't last nearly as long, nor do they come with warranty.
4. Don't use your iPhone while charging!
I know this is difficult because we're all attached to our iPhone by the hip! But think about it like this: when you go to bed at night (to recharge,) would you prefer to be left alone, or have someone poking at you and trying to play?
They'll have a much quicker recharging process if they're just left alone!
Some people also put their phone on aeroplane mode as it turns off cellular data. This is a really good idea if you can stand being uncontactable for a few minutes!
