ITV Studios Australia, home of entertainment shows like Celebrity Come Dine With Me & Shaun Micallef’s Mad as Hell, is delighted to announce that a local version of the international smash hit entertainment show I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here!

Already a hugely successful show in the UK (where it is watched by an average of 13.5 million viewers), and a tried and tested format in 8 international territories, I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here! will be coming to Channel Ten in 2015.

A selection of celebrities, from various fields of entertainment, media, sports, music and other backgrounds, will be flown to a secret location in South Africa where they will compete in exciting endurance challenges and trials, in a bid to be crowned King or Queen of the Jungle.

Leaving their home comforts and celebrity lifestyle behind, the show will showcase competitive and entertaining personalities spending up to six weeks taking on the harsh surroundings of the South African jungle. Filmed 24 hours a day, relationships will flourish and tensions will flare as the celebrity campmates adjust to their new jungle home.

Despite being out of their comfort zones, I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here! is a fantastic opportunity for celebrities to raise money for charity. Whilst the show is exciting and challenge packed, it is also entertaining, warm and compelling television.
