Karl Stefanovic punks Australia for a whole year with feminist experiment
Wears the same suit every day, no-one notices or cares.

We thought it was pretty darn hard for us to love Karl any more than we already do. He is the man, after all, whose Grumpy Cat interview made us roll on the floor with laughter. And let's not forget that time he tricked Ben Fordham into eating an insanely hot pie. Legend.
On top of all that, he's now gone and blown us away by making an amazing point about how women are treated in the media - by wearing the same cheap blue Burberry knock-off suit for a WHOLE YEAR. Didn't notice, did you Australia?
Karl was sick and tired of hearing how his friends and colleagues, including co-host Lisa Wilkinson and friend Samantha Armytage were being judged for what they wore on TV, so he decided to make a point, telling Fairfax that: “I’ve worn the same suit on air for a year — except for a couple of times because of circumstance — to make a point.”
He began by wearing it for two days, then three - no one made a peep. It's now been almost a year.
“No one has noticed; no one gives a s**t...I’m judged on my interviews, my appalling sense of humour — on how I do my job, basically. Whereas women are quite often judged on what they’re wearing or how their hair is.”
We think that a year is DEFINITELY long enough to have made his point, and that's some top-notch feminism-in-action from the Today host. Now, we know what you're thinking: if he wore it all week, every week, how on earth does it smell? Well, that's the bad news for the women on-set:
"Only Lisa and [Today reporter Sylvia Jeffreys] know about the suit. They often remark that it's getting a bit stinky. I'm hoping to get it into the dry cleaners at the end of the year."
