Larry Emdur Reveals How Difficult His Channel 7 Colleagues REALLY Are
TV favourite Larry Emdur has come to the defence of colleague Samantha Armytage, claiming there are “much worse” people working at Channel 7.
The Morning Show host joined our friends from The Grill Team on Sydney's Triple M this morning and stood up for Armytage, who has come under fire recently over a reported conflict with Sunrise make-up artist, Eliza Campagna.
“I’ve been in this business 30 years now and I can say hand on heart, Sam’s one of the good ones,” he said.
“I dunno where this stuff’s coming from. Sam is one of the greatest girls.”
Emdur added that the Seven Network has other employees who are more difficult to work with.
“I would never name names but there are people there [at Channel 7] MUCH WORSE, who behave much worse than Sam.”
“I’ve spent a lot of time with Sam, socially and professionally, and she is a great girl.”
The 50-year-old presenter also had this to say about ongoing rumours of a feud between Armytage and Channel 7 newsreader, Chris Bath:
“I don’t spend a lot of time in the makeup room… there might some chair swapping every now and again. Who cares… it would be like you guys fighting over a car space, it’s no big deal.”
“It just doesn’t sound right to me and anyone who knows Sam and loves Sam and works with Sam would tell you different stories I’m sure.”
It’s Larry Emdur’s birthday today and in celebrattion he’s taken part in a magazine shoot that proves he’s still got it at 50!
