The Simpsons Lose The Voice Of Three Major Characters

One of the original voice cast from The Simpsons is leaving the show after 26 years.

Harry Shearer has taken to Twitter to announce that he will not return to the show for the next two seasons that were announced last week.

Seems like there was some sort of conflict between producers of the animated show and Shearer, who has other side projects besides working on The Simpsons.

Shearer is the voice of Ned Flanders, Principal Skinner, Mr Burns, Waylon Smithers, Jasper, Lenny, Kent Brockman, Otto, Julius Hibbert and Reverend Lovejoy.

Producers have already tried to douse the flames saying that they will find a replacement that will be a very "close fit to give justice to the characters' voices."

It's not the first time that The Simpsons have lost prominent voices in the show.  The deaths of Phil Hartman and Marcia Wallace both left an impact to the show and Shearer's work will definitely be a big loss.
