The Bachelor Australia is returning to our screens very soon, and it turns out that we already know our newest Bachelor very well!
Network Ten has revealed that 30-year-old industrial rope technician from Western Australia, Richie Strahan, will be on the hunt for ‘the one’ this season!
Richie won over hearts around Australia during season one of The Bachelorette Australia when he was chosen by Bachelorette Sam Frost to go on a “growing old date”. We then saw them play bingo and dance the afternoon away. He was a fan favourite to win Sam’s heart.
However, it was not enough and Richie failed to receive a rose in the final episodes. Now, he has a second chance at finding love!
He said, “I am feeling excited, nervous but mostly thrilled about potentially meeting the woman of my dreams.”
Richie describes himself as a good Aussie bloke and is looking for an easy-going, down-to-earth woman who loves life, is comfortable in her own skin and has a great sense of humour.
“I am hoping that through this experience I will meet someone who shares my passion for life, someone that I can wake up to every morning and know I have found that special person that I can spend the rest of my life with.”
Osher Günsberg, host of The Bachelor Australia, says he couldn’t think of anybody better. He revealed, “I know that I share the sentiment of anyone that watched The Bachelorette Australia when I say, all I want is for him to find the right person.”
We can’t wait to meet the Bachelorettes!
