A spinal injury resulting in emergency surgery has forced Shannon Noll to leave Dancing With The Stars.
The singer now faces six weeks worth of rehab - and Noll hopes that he'll recover in time for his national tour.
In an interview with the Kyle and Jackie O Show, Noll detailed the extent of his spinal problems, namely caused by a bulging disc and resulting in tremendous pain. Listen below.
Noll also thanked his fans for their support on Twitter.

Noll is the first ever contestant to withdraw from the Australian edition of the show.

Kerri-Anne Kennerley took a tumble during her routine on last night's episode of Dancing With The Stars.
The TV personality nailed her routine up until the last 10 seconds where she was supposed to remove her shoes and jump on her partners back, piggy back style... but it seems the simplest things can be the hardest to do on stage!
KAK still received the highest score, with each judge scoring her a 9 out of 10. Perhaps the blunder made her performance that little bit more interesting...

Mel B to host ‘Dancing With The Stars’.
Mel has some experience with the format competing in the US version where she and dance partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy made it all the way to the final.
So expect some frank and candid analysis from the scary one.
The former Spice Girl who is having an extended stay in Australia with her family scored the gig a head of our very own Fifi Box and Natalie Bassingthwaighte.
Speaking with the Daily Telegraph the X Factor judge said about her move to Australia "I didn't know if packing up and moving here would work so I tested the waters -- and luckily it worked out really well. The kids love it here, it's a similar lifestyle to LA but it's somewhat better." She even hinted that she may get a bit of a Spice Girls reunion going saying “I feel like it's going to be my Aussie, Sydney year. I also hope to get my girls out here. Emma and Victoria have new babies. I've been telling them how fabulous it is out here."
She sure knows how to get us Aussie on side.

In a totally open and honest interview, Cher’s daughter who is now a man, Chaz Bono, has spoken exclusively to Kyle and Jackie O.
After going through surgery and taking hormones, Chastity is now Chaz, and has changed gender saying ""I always felt like a boy and I wished I was a boy" and "even though I'm in my 40s, when you start to transition it's really like going through puberty all over again."
There’s still one operation left, and that's to get a penis. Of course Kyle wanted to know all about it.
