Masterchef was back on our TV screens for its fourth season last night! It's hard to judge the season on just the first 60 minutes, we will have to wait and see what the contestant's are truly like and what sort of challenges the show has up it sleeves.
But what we did notice, the show has gone back to it's roots by starting off with the auditions for the top 50.
In true reality show style there were tears and we're not gonna lie, there were a few moments we choked up. We reckon MasterChef has still got it and can't wait for the next eppy!

Remember the hot guy from Masterchef? Of course you do. His name is Hayden Quinn and last night he was crowned CLEO Bachelor of the Year!
The guy's pretty much perfect. He is hot; he used to be a lifeguard so he's like, a hero and shiz; he can also cook really tasty food AND wait for it... he's single.

He is also humble, admitting he was surprised to receive the award ahead of "an amazing contingency of guys".
When asked why he thought he received the majority of 1.9 million votes, the heartthrob said:
"That's probably the hardest question tonight… I'm just a normal guy from the Northern Beaches and I think people like that.
"I'm an everyday sort of guy that you van have a beer with at the pub. That's me."
Get in line ladies!

Celebrity Apprentice is back for 2012 and we have a brand new panel of victims for big boss Mark Bouris to pick on. This year’s series includes Baywatch star David Hasselhoff, controversial footy player Jason Akermanis and Bert’s better half Patti Newton.
As much as I’d like to see Akermanis booted off first, I suspect the producers would like to keep the loud mouthed footy star on for a few weeks at least. So my monies on Tania Zaetta taking the first hit, Bollywood actresses haven’t fared too well in past reality TV shows.
The full list of celebrities are: Baywatch star David Hasselhoff, footy player Jason Akermanis, Idol judge Dicko, legendary entertainer Patti Newton, Next Top Model’s Charlotte Dawson, Nathan Jolliffe from the Amazing Race, MasterChef’s Marion Grasby, water-ski and boxing champ Lauryn Eagle, comedians Vince Sorrenti and Fiona O’Loughlin, Ben Dark from Getaway and Bollywood actress Tania Zaetta.
Filming begins today (Jan 16) in Sydney and will air on Channel 9 later this year. And we've been given the word on how you can take part in one of their events. All you need to do is bring your dog along to this:-
Date: Wednesday, January 18
Time: The challenge will kick off at 12pm and finish at 3pm.
Location: Sydney Park (corner of Princes Hwy and King St, St Peters. Car park entrance near the Kiosk)
Challenge brief: Celebrities must provide the ultimate dog pamper experience to bring in the big bucks. The team that makes the most money wins. To ensure that they maximise their profits, the teams will need to offer a selection of dog pamper experiences. Both teams must offer a dog wash service and a dog photo booth service, where dog owners can have a pic with their pooch and a celebrity.)

Although Kate Bracks' interpretation of Rene Redzepi's 'snowman' from famed Danish restaurant Noma earned her the MasterChef 2011 title, viewers were left wondering about a couple of other things: when was the grand final actually filmed and why did they stick The Renovators in between?

The egg-timer is on people! It’s only a matter of days until either one of the 2011 MasterChef finalists, Kate or Michael, whisk their way into the reality TV history books (let’s hope there are actually books as I can’t remember anyone other than Po!)
