Delta Goodrem has opened up to The Sunday Telegraph about her recent struggles, both musically and personally.
With a break up from fiance Brian McFadden announced a year ago, she then embarked on a relationship with 19 year old Nick Jonas. The two announced their split last month.
“I really learnt a lot over these past couple of years; good, bad, it has been hard, it has been heartbreaking, but I always try my best to rise above anything that is thrown at me. I am always learning," Delta said.
“It was a very unhappy time there for a second so to be able to celebrate coming out with music and be in full flight just feels so great.

Delta Goodrem and her toyboy boyfriend, Nick Jonas, have ended their romance! Here's the statement:
"Nick and Delta have decided mutually to end their relationship. At this point in time, they are both focused on their careers as they go on different paths. They remain friends and wish each other the best for the future. There will be no further comments regarding this matter."
Translation: They've broken up but will play nice at awards ceremonies.
Delta is back in Oz to film The Voice. Do you think the distance between the stars has played a part in the split?

Delta Goodrem joined Kyle and Jackie O on air this morning to discuss the ARIA Awards, The Voice and Nick Jonas.
The gorgeous singer appeared completely loved up when her beau's name was mentioned, confessing he is 'lovely'.
When asked if Nick would be joining her in Australia next year while she films The Voice, the singer kept her lips sealed! We don't blame her, the last things she needs is a mob of Jonas Brothers fans following them around!

Delta Goodrem still appears to be all loved up with boyfriend Nick Jonas, judging by her appearance at one of his concerts.
Delts cheered Nick on from the sidelines as he performed at a Westfield concert sponsored by Microsoft in Century City, Los Angeles a few hours ago.

Earlier in the week Delta and Nick were spotted catching the play Les Miserables. Pre show she was sipping on a cocktail whilst he drank an iced tea. At 18 years old he's still wayyy under the legal US drinking age of 21. Meanwhile she's 26 years old.
We're still so confused about this couple... what do you think?
Is it a sham? Is it a publicity stunt? Or are they in love? Maybe Delta thought she'd go for the exact opposite of Brian McFadden?
