Suri Cruise's High Heels Posted by KiKi & Sassy 24 September, 2009 - 11:30 AM

We all know the rumours about Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, right? The rumours about Scientology and its creepy cultishness, the rumours about whether Tom Cruise is gay or straight, about how much Katie got paid to be Tom's Stepford Bride, about whether she's brainwashed; the ones about whether Suri is really Chris Klein's baby.

Well this is way creepier. Usually we love Suri Cruise's little outfits, Sassy especially. We're all so used to seeing little kids dressed up in whorey outfits or pretending to pole-dance like Miley Cyrus' little sister, that it's nice to see a kid dressed like an actual kid.

We love seeing Suri playing in ordinary shorts that could have come from Target (even though they are probably from Barney's and cost about $400). And when they put her in little dresses with pintucks, white socks and Mary Janes, it's straight-up adorable.

So why is she walking around in Boston with her mum wearing glittery high-heeled peep toe shoes? HIGH-HEELS? Really? Damn, girl! The kid is only three years old, after all. Even when we went to dress-up parties as kids we never EVER wore high heels.

For one thing you don't want to ruin their little kiddie backs, but more importantly ... it's just really creepy.

Whenever we see a child wearing heels (or makeup), no matter how nice their parents seem, it always gives us those gross Jon-Benet Ramsay exploitative child-pageant vibes. It make us feel decidedly icky.

Is it just us? Do you think she looks darling or just plain creepy?

That is insane! Why would a parent let their child wear high heels. Surely there has to be some sort of child abuse there. It's not good for Suri's growing body to be subjected to heels.

Sorry you can't critise Katie, I have three girls and they love wearing high heels. It isn't child abuse its just the enjoyment of hearing the clomp clomp for them.

They are not HIGH heel they are dressy sandles for young girls to wear! HIGH heels are when they are 2 inches and higher!

Better she is wearing a proper shoe than those dress up toy clogs that little girls like to wear and hear clickity clack as they walk...this is not child abuse - leave the poor girl & her mother alone, there are parents walking all around us that should have a finger pointed at!!!!
