Hitler's testicle
2008-11-21A German army medic, who saved Hitler's life during the First World War, claimed he only had only one testicle.
It has long been thought the Nazi party leader lost one testicle, but although it was known he had suffered a groin injury as a soldier, there was never conclusive evidence until now.
The revelation comes in a document noting a conversation in the 1960s between war doctor Johan Jambor and his priest, Franciszek Pawlar.
Blassius Hanczuch, a friend of Jambor, confirmed the account, saying: "Johan and his friends picked up injured soldiers in the Battle of the Somme. He remembers Hitler. His abdomen and legs were all in blood. Hitler was injured in the abdomen and lost one testicle. His first question to the doctor was: 'Will I be able to have children?'."
