Australia's pop princess, Kylie Minogue, has been awarded an OBE from the Queen for her services to the music industry.

When the sexy singer found out last December she would be made an Officer in the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, Minogue said she was "deeply touched".

The iconic showgirl has entertained millions with hits such as I Should Be So Lucky, Can't Get You Out Of My Head and 2 Hearts.
