Leona Lewis shows her true 'spirit' live Back to Music News
If there was ever any doubt about the talents of Leona Lewis, they were dispelled last night at her Sony showcase in front of a packed auditorium at Sydney's Museum of Contemporary Art.
Looking angelic in a white dress, the stunning 23-year-old Londoner enchanted the crowd which included Hollywood stars Kim and Khloe Kardashian with a short but sweet four-song set that included the number one hit 'Bleeding Love', her second single 'Better in Time', 'Homeless' and her cover of Roberta Flack's 'The First Time I Saw Your Face'.
As her voice rung out with defiant heart break during 'Bleeding Love', it quickly became obvious just why she's sold four million records of her debut album Spirit around the world.
The singer also proved sincere and remarkably modest, telling the crowd "I can't believe how many people came out to see me tonight."
The pleasure was all ours.
