Details of Michael Jackson's memorial ceremony have finally been revealed. TMZ.com says that on Tuesday morning LA time a motorcade will go from Forest Lawn Mortuary to the Staples Center complex where the public memorial will be held. Richard Reid has revealed that tickets to the event will cost $25 US dollars to attend. Reports say that Michael's family are fighting to have the star buried at his former home, Neverland.
Various reports are doing the rounds regarding Michael Jackson's funeral and memorial arrangements.
According to TMZ, a massive 30-car motorcade is set to return Jackson's body from Los Angeles to the Neverland ranch, where the public will be invited to a memorial service. However Santa Barbara County officials have not been contacted by the Jackson family.
The Los Angeles Times also reports that a source believes that a public memorial and funeral service will also be held at the 19,000-seat Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles. Afterwards the procession would then move onto Neverland Ranch for a somewhat smaller service for family, friends and the music industry.
