Aussie artist calls Madonna "vulgar" Posted by Music 3 June, 2008 - 4:00 PM
"Vulgar", "wretched" and "not sexy anymore" - they're just a few things emerging Aussie sensation Sam Sparro has had to say about Madonna in a recent interview with the UK's Attitude magazine.

Infuriated that his debut single 'Black and Gold' was recently denied the top spot in the UK by the Queen of Pop's Justin Timberlake duet '4 Minutes', the 25-year-old London-based Sydneysider let fly.
"Madonna is wretched at the moment. Absolutely vulgar. Put it away," he told Attitude. "You're not young and sexy any more… [she was] thoughtful and mature for a while and now she's chucked it away in a desperate attempt at being hot again. It's a bit vile."
He didn't stop there: "I definitely think she's had some work done - like a recent facelift."
Madonna's '4 Minutes' is presently sitting pretty at #2 on the ARIA singles chart while 'Black and Gold' is hanging back at #33.
What do you think - does Sam Sparro have a point or is he just making a cheap grab for attention?

Would have to agree with Sam. Madonna is a washed up old hag. New Album is crap and the mole does not support her Australian fans so why support her. She's sniffin around our Kylie following her to France for opening nite of the X tour and has the hide to hold an event the same nite - me thinks she is knows she is old news....Kylie xxx

What Sam says is like, there's sum truth to it. Her music is totally awesome and I love "4 minutes" but time's getting on and Madonna ain't getting any youthful! She should back off to enable young artists to strut their stuff on the charts, instead of taking their place. She's also acting like she's still 20 and like everyone loves her. But really people are getting over her, not into her. Madonna needs to step back and take a look at what she needs to do to get over the fame obsession.

While I think she is trying a tad too hard with her new album, there definately still is a place for her in the charts while the new 'talent' coming through are all crap. Fancy a Kylie Mingue fan calling Madonna washed up. I dont see any Madonna albums in bargain bins a few months after they're released...

I love madonna's music!!!! Even her new music. I have been to most concerts of hers, BUT i agree with sam, time to stop using the botox. She is looking gross. Age gracefully.I LOVE BLACK AND GOLD. FAVE SONG RIGHT NOW
