As promised, Lady Gaga has released the Yoü and I music video with her 1000th tweet, however it was at MTV's expense.

The occasional-music channel was slated to have the premiere of the Haus of Gaga-directed video but Mother Monster surprised them all by bringing forward the release.

The tweets prove that Lady Gaga has full control of her affairs - and that includes music videos.

Oh, about the video.

Gaga filmed the video clip in the Midwest of the United States, and features her chasing a lover all the way across America.

There's actually several "boyfriends" featured in the 6 and half minute clip including Gaga's greasy male alter ego Jo Calderone!

The pair even make out with each other… so it's Lady Gaga kissing herself!

Remember the mermaid outfit from Sydney Monster Hall? She takes that and brings it to the next level…
