Former Jenny Craight spokes-person Kirstie Alley has gone public with her latest weighty battle. We spotted the twitter addict actress on her way to the David Letterman show where she told him it wasn't her fault she'd staked on the kilos again.

Kirstie says the reason why so many people are overweight in 2010 is because of the chemicals in our diet, nothing to do with the volume of food we eat.  She announced that she used to eat lots of food when she was slim so overeating can't be the reason for her weight problem.

Will Kirstie be successful in her latest weightloss attempt which she's filming for reality tv? Or will she finally realise that the key to weightloss is food moderation and exercise?
