Looks like the most glamorous party in the world was all a little too much for Katy Perry.

The star appeared on the Oscars red carpet with fiancee Russell Brand, and for once he was the well behaved one!

Early in the evening she twittered "I'm drunk!... And it's only pre show!"

After Russell started telling British TV cameras that he'd seen dwarves at the event, Katy blurted "I call him on his bulls**t". Not the language most Brits want to hear over their brekky cereal!!

Luckily Russell was there to tell her off, saying "don't swear. It's morning in England."
