Watch out parents, it’s not Kanye West or Britney Spears that you need to keep your children away from – it’s Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus.

Miley has been voted the Worst Celebrity Influence by teen website JSYK.com. The singer received almost half of the votes cast thanks to her increasingly controversial behaviour including pole dancing, racy photos all over the internet and appearing to grab her crotch during dance scenes at her concerts.

Website editor Stephanie Cohen said, "Miley is in this transitional period where she's trying to shed the 'Hannah Montana' image. Some of her fans just don't want her to grow up."

Selena Gomez, star of Disney’s Wizards Of Waverly Place’, on the other hand was voted the best celebrity influence.
