New York royalty is set to hit Australia with the announcement that a certain movie star is heading down under.

None other than 'Sex and The City' star Sarah Jessica Parker will be hitting Melbourne in the summer months of November.

The actress will be in town to promote her latest film 'I Don't Know How She Does It?'.

And it seems silly not to attend one of the Southern Hemisphere's big race meets when you're are way so the star will join race-goers at the Ladies Day at Flemington.

That sure is going to make for one Fashions on the Field competition.
