UPDATE

Sophie Monk has revealed she is no longer engaged to French millionaire Esbag on E!'s 'Chelsea Lately'.

We will update you will more info as it comes to hand but apparently she has told 'Chelsea Lately' host, Chelsea Handler, that she is is "newly single" and has been through a lot. She also said she was thinking of becoming a “Sam Ronson”.

Despite a 20-year age gap, Sophie has previously said of Esbag:

"He's a keeper. He balances me. This is me changing and being ready for it . . . I'm relaxing and enjoying the moment."

Exclusively announced this morning on air, our very own Sophie Monk is engaged to marry her boyfriend Jimmy Esebag. Sophie has been living in California's most star-studded city now for over 5 years pursuing her acting career (as well as filling in for Jackie O on the Kyle & Jackie O Show if you haven't heard!).

The pair had been friends for quite some time before becoming romantically involved: Sophie posting recently on her Facebook page,    

“It's going to be a good year. My best friend of a long, long time just happens to be my soul partner; funny how life takes you where you are finally meant to be."
