K-Fed has been given the all clear by doctors after suffering chest pains whilst filming an AFL based challenge for Excess Baggage yesterday afternoon.

He was released from Mt Druitt hospital in Sydney's west late last night, and will undergo further tests with a cardiologist today after spending time with family.

The Dirt can reveal that Britney Spears was notified of the incident immediately and was standby on to travel to Australia. Although Kevin's condition has improved, she may still be coming to the country because Kevin does have joint-custody over their children Sean and Jayden.

Britney Spears' ex-husband Kevin Federline was hospitalised after suffering chest pains whilst filming Excess Baggage for Channel Nine.

Federline was taking part in a training challenge with the AFL's Greater Western Sydney Giants in Doonside and was treated immediately by paramedics onsite before being transported to Mt Druitt Hospital.

It is the second time he has been hospitalised this season, after being treated for heat stress during a stint in the Kimberleys, Northern Territory.

It's not the first time Federline has experienced serious medical conditions on the show - intense conditions in Western Australia's Kimberley region forced K-Fed to succumb to heat stress.
