Amanda Ware has been crowned Australia's Next Top Model, but not without a little drama as host Sarah Murdoch incorrectly announced first that Kelsey Martinovich was the winner.

Viewers witnessed a shocked Murdoch as she declared that she was fed the wrong name through her earpiece.

A very apologetic Murdoch was consoled by Ware and Martinovich.

This is what happens when you have live TV folks, this is insane, insane, insane."

A statement was soon issued by Foxtel stating that Martinovich would also be entitled to the winner's prize - $25,000 and a trip to New York City.

  I think Amanda did deserve to win, she is gorgeous and has the complete package. But something has to be done about the whole "Live Television" thing! If I were Kelsey, I would have been devastated having that snatched off you because of a technological mistake! Next year, it should at least have a half hour delay or something like that. Im glad to hear Foxtel are awarding Kelsey with $25,000 and a Trip to NYC, I think she deserves that at the least

  Sarah did not look that sorry at all! She had a big smile on her face whilst saying sorry. She could have tried to look like she really meant it. Maybe a little attention thing happening.

  I think that was the funniest thing iv seen in a long time i LMAO so bad i nearly passed out. It could only happen like that when a women is running it. So i take my hat off to Sarah for a job well done and a great ending to a show ;^)
