Kim Kardashian's Former Bodyguard Claims Paris Heist Was An "Inside Job"
Kim Kardashian’s former bodyguard has claimed her gunpoint robbery may have been an inside job.
Steve Stanulus, who has worked fix Kim and her husband Kanye West in the past, told the New York Post he wasn’t surprised by the crime:
“This was a crime waiting to happen. Kim is lucky to be alive,” he told the publication.
“I would say it’s either an inside job or publicity stunt. That hotel is so secure, somebody must have tipped them off that she was alone inside, or shown them a way in.”
It’s also believed French authorities have similar suspicions.
According to Page Six, French police think Kim’s attackers were informed of her whereabouts from either someone on her team or a hotel employee. An insider reportedly claims:
"French police suspect that the five alleged robbers had some contact with her security and were tipped off about her procedures. They knew there was no security [with her inside her apartment that night]. All they had to do was go in, make contact with someone inside the hotel. They have issues with story of more than one worker at the hotel. They are also talking to bodyguards who worked with her earlier in the week."
It’s also claimed the hotel’s concierge are under suspicion:
"They did some things that were so unprofessional it seemed like a show."
Kim Kardashian was bound and locked in her Paris apartment bathroom at around 3am yesterday, local time. The thieves, who were dressed as police, stole around $14 million in jewellery from her room.
