Stacks Of Cash Found After NSW Crash
An accused criminal has escaped injury after a NSW car crash but walked away almost $100,000 lighter, after police made a surprise discovery.
Officers responding to the smash in the state's central west on Saturday night allegedly found more than a dozen bundles of crisp $50 notes hidden in the boot of the man's car, and another $12,000 on his body.
The 30-year-old was refused bail to appear at Dubbo Local Court today charged with dealing with $97,000 in proceeds of crime and goods in custody, with his vehicle seized for forensic examination.
