Can you believe it’s been fifteen years since Bring It On was released?

The now classic cheerleading movie was filmed way back in 2000, and it had us all wanting to move to America and join a squad. But what are the cast of Bring It On up to now? We found out!

Kirsten Dunst – Torrance Shipman

Already a Hollywood veteran when she starred in Bring It On as a teen, Kirsten has never been far from the limelight. She appeared as Mary Jane in the Spider-Man films, starred in a huge range of arthouse and mainstream movies and will appear in upcoming the second season of the critically acclaimed TV series Fargo – that’s her in costume as a housewife above.

Eliza Dushku – Missy Patone

Eliza was already known for her role as Faith in Buffy, and later followed this up with a starring role in Joss Whedon’s Dollhouse. You can see her next in the thriller Eloise and the fourth season of Banshee plus hear her voice in the animated series Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. She also recently made headlines when she got kicked out of her hotel room by One Direction.

Gabrielle Union – Isis

Gabrielle has not aged a day since Bring It On was filmed. Somehow this lady is 42!? Her acting career has been going strong ever since Bring It On, and she currently stars in Being Mary Jane, a TV series about a successful broadcast journalist. Gabrielle is married to NBA star Dwyane Wade.

Jesse Bradford – Cliff Pantone

Jesse has worked steadily in film and TV since he won over our hearts as Torrance’s perfect guy. Recent roles include the jury thriller Sequestered and the film Badge of Honor with Martin Sheen. He’s really good at updating Instagram, and he was also rumoured to be dating Azealia Banks.

Ian Roberts - Sparky Polastri aka Spirit Fingers guy

The most iconic moment in Bring It On was “spirit fingers”. So what’s the guy who played the eccentric choreographer up to? He’s a hard working character actor who has appeared in everything from Parks & Recreation to Community and Arrested Development as well as Anchorman, Talladega Nights and I Love You Man.

Clare Kramer – Courtney

No one was as good at making cheer puns as cheerleader Courtney. Clare Kramer is still acting, but she also founded GeekNation, an online pop culture hub for videos, podcasts, vodcasts and blogs. Pretty impressive!

Nicole Bilderback – Whitney

Nicole is notable for appearing in all your favourite 90s movies and TV shows – Clueless, Buffy, Dark Angel, Can’t Hardly Wait and Dawson’s Creek. She still pops up from time to time on shows like Castle and The Mentalist and was in the 2014 film The Mercenaries.

Lindsay Sloane – Big Red

Big Red only appears in a few scenes, but she made a huge impact! Lindsay also played Sabrina’s best friend on Sabrina The Teenage Witch, and appeared in the forgotten but hilarious TV series Grosse Pointe. She toiled away in small roles over the past decade but recently played Dale’s wife in the Horrible Bosses movies and now stars as Emily in The Odd Couple.

Brandi Williams, Shamari Fears and Natina Reed – LaFred, Lava, Jenelope

The members of girl group Blaque played cheerleaders on the East Compton Clovers squad and had a song on the soundtrack. The group were eventually dropped from their record label in 2001, although they kept working on music. Sadly Natina passed away in 2012.  Shamari is married to Ronnie DeVoe while Brandi attempted to launch a solo career. The two girls are still friends and are all over each other’s Instagrams.

Cody McMains – Justin Shipman

Cody specialised in annoying brother characters, and parodied his own role in Not Another Teen Movie. He hasn’t appeared on screen since 2012’s FDR: American Badass. He now runs a coffee shop and likes to skateboard.

Nathan West – Jan

Jan was one of the squad’s male cheerleaders. Nathan last appeared on TV in Grey’s Anatomy in 2009 and the movie Alleged in 2010. More notably, he proposed to his wife Chyler Leigh (pictured above) on the set of Not Another Teen Movie and they are now married with three kids. The pair are involved in the music scene.

Huntley Ritter – Les

Another male cheerleader, Huntley Ritter has removed himself from the acting scene. He hosted a show called Huntley Ritter’s Outlanders on the Sportsman Channel. He’s moderately active on Twitter, seems to live the farm life and now works for Useek, a tech company focused on branded content.

Bianca Kajlich - Carver

Despite having a pretty tiny role in Bring It On (Carver is the girl who broke her leg at the start of the film) Bianca has had a very successful acting career. She starred as Jennifer in Rules Of Engagement from 2007 – 2013 and now plays Leslie in Undateable.

Tsianina Joelson – Darcy

After Bring It On Tsianina played Varia in Xena. She hasn’t done any acting since 2009’s According To Greta and has basically disappeared from the internet.
