The world record for the largest Rocky Road has been broken!
Known for their delicious chocolates and amazing flavours, Darrell Lea have just set the record straight, creating the world’s largest Rocky Road, weighing in at 261.2kg.
At five and a half metres long, two and a half metres wide, Darrell Lea have used more than 85kg of milk chocolate, 20kg of nuts, and 8kg of cranberries.
The slab will be sliced into pieces, ready to be handed out around the Sydney CBD.
Klark Quinn, who manages the plant, said changes needed to be made and reflect Australian culture.
‘‘Changes had to happen, and one of our first projects was to make Darrell Lea part of Australia Day,’’ he told The St. George and Sutherland Shire Leader.
