Two X Factor judges have been fired for bullying on live television.

Natalia Kills and Willy Moon, judges X Factor New Zealand are being billed as the cruelest reality TV judges ever - and they've been fired for their harsh and unneccesary critisim of a contestant.

New Zealand media company, Mediaworks, sacked Kills and Moon today for bullying a contestant on live TV, the New Zealand Hearld reports.

They were fired this afternoon just hours before the pair were due to feature on tonight's life elimination round, reportedly due to extreme media pressure from the show's sponsors.

An online petition calling for Kills to be fired drew over 70,000 supporters in less than 24 hours.

Just days ago Mediaworks made a public apology after Moon called a woman a c*** for cutting in front of him in a carpark.

Earlier:

Natalia Kills and Willy Moon, a married couple who are also judges on X Factor New Zealand are being billed as the cruelest reality TV judges ever.

Last night, Kills verbally abused and shamed contestant Joe Irvine (pictured) for his dress sense and claimed he was copying her husband Moon with his ensemble consisting of a suit and slicked back hair.

“You’re laughing stock. It’s cheesy, it’s disgusting,” she said.

“I personally found it artistically atrocious. I’m embarrassed to be sitting here in your presence having to dignify you with my opinion.”

Natalia Kills is a musician who has had moderate success in Europe.  Kills is a judge on the reality show alongside her hubby Willy Moon who counts his song being used on an iTunes advertisement as one of his highest achievements.

Her hubby followed up with this (equally hateful) cracker:

“You look like Norman Bates dressing up in his mother’s clothing. It’s just a little bit creepy and I feel like you’re going to stitch someone’s skin to your face and then kill everybody in the audience.”

Since the live show aired last night the broadaster said they had been inundated with comments and complaints about Moon and Kill’s outlandish rants.

More than 50,000 people have signed a petition to have Kills removed from the show, while a similar number have liked a facebook group.

Do you think it’s time reality TV judges stopped judging people on their appearance and started mentoring (like they are meant to!)?

Is this the nastiest X Factor judge response ever?
