During an exclusive Australian interview, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin told Kyle and Jackie O that despite touring Australia sans his wife Gwyneth Paltrow and their two children, he and the band are far beyond their partying days.

"Some of us did all that [partying] in the old days but the worst feeling in the world is going on stage and feeling not quite right. That is so terrifying.

"Then you suddenly realise how many poeple are there and then you think 'God, that person's come from work, that person saved up for six months, that person should be at school tomorrow."

Coldplay performed what has been dubbed "one of the gtreatest shows of all time" in Sydney on Saturday night.
