Yoga who? Gyrotonics is the new Yoga, it is one of Hollywood’s best kept secrets for turning flab into fab!

A handful of A-listers have signed up to the Gyrotonics fitness regime, including Madonna, Julianne Moore, Gwyneth Paltrow and Kim Cattrall.

This revolutionary fitness fad was developed in the USA and originally designed for dancers.  It’s a body-conditioning workout which focuses on physical alignment and deep muscle control to stretch and strengthen muscles.

It was designed by a roman ballet dancer and uses a combination of yoga, tai chi, dance, swimming gymnastics and resistance training.  The movements are performed on a specially designed piece of equipment.

There are 50 sets of exercises, with over 130 variations of strectching, bending, twisting and turning muscles. It sounds torturous but  some stars swear by it…and it shows. We’ve all seen Madonna's hard-rock toned arms and Gwyneth's post baby slim-down body.

What do you think? Would you try it?

The greatest asset of celebrities are their good looks and body, thus in order to maintain that they undergo for a several fitness exercise, they need to do that being a public figure even if it take for some extra cash. Hopefully the 50 sets of exercise will be effective in losing weight and keeping them physically fit.
