Adrien Brody lets us in on his Hollywood trim down secrets.

Best known for his roles in the movies King Kong and The Pianist, Adrien Brody is a star that takes care of his body and believes in healthy living.  But when the demands of work come first sometimes losing weight comes before health.  

Brody went on the “Egg Diet” to lose weight for his role in The Pianist.  The diet involves eating foods which are high in protein and avoid foods that are high in carbs.  The menu includes: two boiled eggs and half a grapefruit for breakfast; 2 boiled eggs or grilled chicken and a green salad for lunch; and a two-egg omelette with spinach and tomato, or 2 boiled eggs and veggies for dinner. No snacks are allowed.  

The good thing about this diet is that it’s simple and easy. The ingredients are inexpensive; there’s not magic diet pills or shakes, and the meals are quick easy to make. Also, eggs are a great source of protein and contain plenty of vitamins.

The downside to this diet is that too many eggs increases cholesterol intake and the risk of cardiovascular disease.  Please contact a health professional before going on this diet.
