The Banana Body

As published in the infamous Time Magazine, the Banana Diet is a booming worldwide slim-down regime. It all began in Japan when major Western media outlets reported on the countries banana shortage, which was due to the popularity of the banana diet.
The Gist:
For breakfast eat one to two bananas and drink a glass of room temperature water. You can then eat whatever you like for the rest of the day as long as it does not contain dairy or alcohol. You are allowed one sweet snack in the afternoon, but are not allowed any food after 8pm.
Another rule of this diet is that you have to go to sleep before midnight. The rationale behind this is that scientific studies have found a relationship between sleep deprivation and obesity. So the more you sleep the less you eat.
Why Bananas?
Bananas are said to improve digestions and boost metabolism. They are also full of a certain type of fiber that promotes the feeling of fullness. They are high in vitamins B6, C and potassium.
As for exercise, the Banana Diet does not include any fitness regime. But any good health and fitness adviser would recommend doing at least 30minutes of exercise a day.
