The Cookie Gist:
Before you get excited and think you can run to the pantry and stuff your belly with tiny teddies… think again.  This cookie diet only works by eating one kind of cookie; the Dr. Siegal cookie.

According to the doc these cookies are scientifically designed to help control appetite and reduce hunger.  Each cookie contains 90 calories and contains low GI ingredients.

The way this diet works is by replacing one or two meals a day with cookies.  Essentially it’s a diet that is very low in calories and carbs.  A simple example of a menu on this diet is: 6 cookies throughout the day and a dinner consisting of lean chicken, turkey or fish and steamed vegetables.  The diet states that no more than 800 calories can be consumed per day.
