The Russian Air Force Diet

This fad diet is a ruthlessly strict eating plan that’s extremely low in carbs. To no surprise this diet was developed in the former Soviet Union to get soldiers into shape. It’s a 7 day plan that requires discipline and a strong stomach (the foods are not very desirable). Breakfast is coffee and a very small amount of carbs; lunch must include just protein and a piece of fruit; and dinner is also protein and a salad.
An example of a 7 day Russian Ait Force Diet:
Monday
Breakfast: coffee
Lunch: 2 eggs and 1 tomato
Dinner: red meat + green salad
Tuesday
Breakfast: coffee and toast
Lunch: red meat + green salad
Dinner: ham and 1 cup of yoghurt
Wedneday
Breakfast: coffee and toast
Lunch: salad with a tomato and 1 orange
Dinner: ham, fruit salad, 2 eggs
Thursday
Breakfast: coffee and toast
Lunch: 2 slices of cheese, 1 egg and 1 carrot
Dinner: Fruit salad and 1 cup of yoghurt
Friday
Breakfast: 2 slices of ham and 1 cup carrots
Lunch: fish and 1 tomato
Dinner: red meat
Saturday
Breakfast: coffee and toast
Lunch: 1/4 chicken and 1 orange
Dinner: 2 eggs and 1 raw carrot
Sunday
Breakfast: coffee and toast
Lunch: red meat and 1 orange
Dinner: anything
If you really want to push things to the extreme this plan recommends repeating the day-to-day diet for another 6 days. But caution; this diet is diet is very low on carbs for energy, which your muscles rely on for fuel, so it’s recommended to add more healthy carbs like wholegrain bread or pasta into you’re eating plan. This plan also does not state any fitness regime so make sure you are doing at least 30 minutes of exercise each day. AND drink plenty of water!
