The Celebrity 3 Hour Diet Posted by Maddison Carter 20 October, 2009 - 12:26 PM
Who is rumoured to have tried it:
Lucy Liu, Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Lopez
The Gist:
This diet follows one main rule- eat every 3 hours. It’s based on the principle of eating little meals more often to speed up the metabolism…making it work harder and burn more energy.
A-list Hollywood celebs love this diet as it’s all about snacking….so it’s an “on-the-go” diet for busy, busy people. A typical diet consists of eating breakfast, a morning snack, lunch, an afternoon snack, dinner and dessert. Examples of foods that you can eat include: ham and cheese on a wholemeal piece of toast, granola bar, turkey and avocado on rice cakes, carrots and celery with dip, low fat ice cream.
Each meal must be small…like the size of your fist, otherwise this diet won’t work. If you eat the right foods and portions-like plenty of vegies, good carbs, little sugar and lots of lean protein, then you will succeed at this diet. Make sure to also include 30minutes of exercise a day.

I have tried this with every two hours and it REALLY works. But you have to maintain it otherwise like any other diet you fall back into bad habits and put the weight back on.

What type of foods are we talking about tho? I walk through the shopping centre and try to find food that is quick and easy to eat and snack on but can either not find anything or the things i do find are all unhealthy...

Hi Samantha,
I would recommend foods like carrot and celery sticks, pear, strawberries and blueberries, bananas, slices of lean meats like turkey, little tin cans of springwater tuna, etc. :)Eat well, play hard, love life
