Get your tummy ready folks, because the Sydney Night Noodle Markets are back!
There's nothing better than kicking off daylight savings with an epic outdoor noodle market, with all the sights, sounds and smells of an authentic Asian hawker market, mixed with the vibe of an Aussie festival.
For those of you who are no stranger to the noodle markets, you'll be glad to know that the likes of Mr Bao, Mamak and Hoy Pinoy are returning, as well as desserts from Black Star Pastry x N2 Extreme Gelato.
We've had a little squiz at the menu already so we thought we'd put together our top 5 picks to try!
1. The Peking Duck Fries From Bao Stop
It's like two of the best things rolled into one. Peking Duck and Fries! Bao Stop offers delicious crispy golden fries topped with shredded peking duck, smothered in peking sauce and finished with spring onion. YUM.
2. Inihaw Na Manok Chicken Skewer From Hoy Pinoy
You pretty much haven't experienced the noodle markets until you've had the Chicken Skewers from Hoy Pinoy! If chicken isn't really your thing, they also come in pork.
3. Crackling Pork Belly Gua Bao From Mr Bao
If you're a lover of steamed buns, beeline straight for Mr Bao! We recommend the crackling pork belly, but they've also got chicken and tofu options! (Plus some badass crackling pork belly fries that you will definitely need in your life.)
4. Strawberry Watermelon Cake From Black Star Pastry x N2 extreme Gelato
One for the dessert lovers heading to the noodle markets. It may not be noodles, but by golly it's delicious. Two of the best fruits, blended together in a totally kickass cake.
5. Icecream Baogers From One Tea Lounge
These were a massive hit last year and it's pretty obvious why! One Tea Lounge have custom made these baogers (see what they did there) which is a slider sized deep fried bao, stuffed with icecream and sauce. Plus, it's hailed as the 'most instagrammed dessert in Sydney' so it's definitely one to add to your feed.
The Sydney Night Noodle Market kicks off tonight and runs until the 23rd in Hyde Park. They kick off around 5pm (4pm on weekends) and the best part, it's totally free entry!

Sorry, did someone say FREE MESSINA?
It’s only been 3 months since the last one, but we loved it so much that it’s BACK!
Can you guess where it is?
