There Is Currently A Public Poo Pandemic In Sydney
Residents in Sydney have noticed an increasing amount of human poo appearing on the ground.
The faeces has been spotted in areas like Surry Hills, Darlinghurst and Erskineville, and has resulted in calls for urgent action from the City of Sydney to provide 24-hour toilets.
At the moment, less than 15% of toilets are accessible 24 hours a day, meaning the city’s most vulnerable residents have no choice but to answer the call of nature on the street.
The City of Sydney has responded by introducing 24-hour access to the public toilets in Wentworth Park, where a large number of rough sleepers have set up.
